Special stylus for CMM (Grade G5)
Lihe Precision's special stylus for CMMs consists of three parts: probe ball, probe stem, and base. It is compatible with M2 or M3 connecting threads and can accurately detect workpiece surface features from any direction. The entire probe is made of corrosion-resistant material to ensure no rust in the CMM operating environment. Meanwhile, the special stylus has excellent wear resistance and heat resistance, ensuring long-term stable measurement performance.

1. The probe ball is made of high-hardness materials such as ruby, silicon nitride, and zirconia, featuring excellent wear resistance and deformation resistance.
2. The probe ball has small shape error, ensuring consistent offset compensation when detecting from any direction.
3. Depending on the diameter and length of different styluses, probe stems are available in two materials: stainless steel and tungsten carbide. Styluses with larger diameter and shorter length adopt stainless steel integrated stems with the base; styluses with smaller diameter and shorter length use tungsten carbide stems to ensure high rigidity.
4. The base part provides two thread connection options (M2 and M3) according to different detection devices.
5. Optional stylus extension rods and stylus center bodies are available. By extending the stylus, it can easily meet the measurement needs beyond the standard length.
6. The stylus center body combined with the stylus extension rod and the stylus body can form a star-shaped stylus, which effectively reduces the rotation of the stylus holder when measuring concave features, thereby improving detection efficiency.
